What would you name as your roadmap to supporting students with any learning loss (unfinished learning)? Anchoring in this question will drive us to ensuring we are meeting the desired student outcomes. The context that comes to mind are the actions or supports that need to happen from a leader, literacy coach, teacher and student perspectives. The School Leader
- Prioritize the understanding of the need to address unfinished learning
- Gather and analyze data to identify unfinished learning
- Develop structures and supports to ensure unfinishing learning and intervention time is a school wide priority
- Identify how you will support students with socio-emotional needs (resources, logistically, etc.)
- Determine how unfinished learning will impact teacher professional learning priorities
